Investing in futures shaped by heart

The Rowan Jo Foundation is building an endowment to provide annual educational scholarships and emergency assistance for individuals and families impacted by congenital heart defects. Join us as we establish this lasting fund in memory of Rowan Jo.

How the fund will help

Congenital heart defects affect every aspect of life, from childhood through higher education. We are creating targeted support pathways so financial barriers never stand in the way of learning and healing.

CHD survivors

Direct academic scholarships for resilient students who personally live with and manage congenital heart conditions while pursuing higher education.

Impacted siblings & families

Funding for students who have supported, cared for, or lost a loved one with CHD, honoring their enduring dedication and shared sacrifice.

Hospitalization support

Emergency family relief grants to help cover critical expenses when a child undergoes prolonged hospital stays and specialized cardiac care.

Building the foundation first

We are currently in our formative years, focused on raising initial capital and establishing community partnerships before opening formal applications. Every dollar raised today directly ensures these awards are sustainable for years to come.

Eligibility & future application process

When our initial endowment milestones are met, application guidelines and timelines will be announced right here. Awards will be available to high school seniors, college students, and vocational trainees whose lives have been altered by congenital heart disease. Our review process will prioritize genuine heart, perseverance, and academic drive over purely standard test metrics.
